Stay True to the Blues

Sometimes even classics need change!

A glaring example could be the splash of Denim in Spring/Summer 2015. It was refreshing to see the classic textile in new and refreshing silhouettes.

BURBERRY PRORSUM

The Burberry Prorsum show in London started with a fluted a denim with shearling accents paired with a piallette-embellished pencil skirt down the runway. This American Classic could be seen in a new light due to the architectural shape of the jacket.

DOLCE AND GABBANA

In Milan, Domenico Dolce and Stefana Gabbana, balanced the relaxed, almost boyfriend fit of the jeans with flashy embellishments by incorporating various pairs over-the-top bedazzled jeans in their collection.

GUCCI

Frida Giannini's collection was splashed with various bits of denim, ranging from wide cut crops, military-inspired jackets, glam lace-up dresses to ultra-tailored shirt dresses that really added class to the material.

And denim craze just didn't just stop there! it was also spotted in Michael Kors, Roberto Cavalli and Tommy Hilfiger Runways.

Needless to say, come spring you'll be buying much more denim, but add a twist to it with new silhouettes and lavish details.
